European Flax-Linen at the heart of the award-winning Design Parade 2026 projects4
At Design Parade 2026, the internationally renowned design festival organised by Villa Noailles in Hyères and Toulon, two projects supported by the Alliance for European Flax-Linen & Hemp received major awards for their creative, technical and innovative use of certified European Flax-Linen.
A longstanding partner of the festival, the Alliance supported six finalists in the Design Parade – Interior Design competition by providing technical guidance and access to certified European Flax-Linen supplied by its member companies. This year's winners include Valentin Bayoud, recipient of the Grand Prix Design Parade Van Cleef & Arpels – Interior Design for AQUA PRIMITIVA, and Simon Searle and Victoire Lesthevenon, who received the Public Prize – Interior Design for their project L'Observatoire.
Beyond these awards, the winning projects demonstrate the aesthetic, technical and environmental potential of European Flax-Linen and European Hemp in contemporary interior design. They also reflect the Alliance's ongoing commitment to supporting emerging creative talent by promoting certified bio-based materials and building lasting connections between the European textile industry and the next generation of designers.
