Alliance certifications and services are evolving to strengthen confidence in certified European Flax-Linen

In response to growing market, regulatory and consumer expectations regarding transparency, traceability and sustainability, the Alliance for European Flax-Linen & Hemp is strengthening its offering to provide brands, manufacturers and value chain stakeholders with ever more robust evidence.

This new roadmap is built around four complementary pillars: the strengthening of the Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ (formerly European Flax™) and Masters of LINEN™ certifications, the deployment of an optional digital traceability solution, the provision of reliable environmental data to calculate the environmental footprint of European Flax-Linen, and dedicated support for certified companies and brands.

Audited by independent third-party certification bodies, the certifications reinforce guarantees of European origin, traceability, integrated crop management practices and excellence in European expertise. They also enable companies to make verifiable claims that meet market expectations.

Alongside this, the Alliance continues to support a more transparent and responsible textile industry through digital traceability tools, recognised environmental data, and technical, regulatory and marketing expertise serving the entire value chain.
