The Linen sector is taking a growing interest in the density and intensity of the material in weaves. This growing interest is particularly evident in 100% Flax-Linen: a Linen yarn with a strong character.
The aim is to bring out all the richness and quality of the fibre, to get that tangible feeling of ‘having your hands full’, quite literally.

However, professionals are currently paying particular
attention to crepe yarns. Flax-Linen crepes are appealing
not only for their dry feel and the ‘nervousness’ they impart to the movement to fabrics, but also for their resistance to creasing.
Spinners are also looking for the same vibrant qualities in
knitwear. With it, Linen transcends preconceived ideas, far
from the persistent cliché of a fabric sometimes considered too soft and lacking in vibrancy.
Fashion designers are exploring the interplay of yarns, revealing the beauty of Flax-Linen yarns in simple, tone-ontone designs.
Thanks to the uniqueness of Linen yarn, monochrome jacquards, embroideries and other patterns become as many textures as tactile as visual. Flax-Linen yarns offer new creative possibilities, both in the world of fashion and interior design.
Drawing on their precious expertise, weavers and knitters are aiming for infinite lightness, and their refined pieces include extremely fine yarns.
At the same time, textile experts can see a more invigorating trend emerging, with fine Flax-Linen yarns woven or knitted very tightly. Although still rare, these dense, opaque, slightly technical yet light and crisp fabrics are fuelling a desire for fashion with a sporty direction.
