How to label my Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ certified products?
The labelling of Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ certified products is regulated for Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ certified companies, brands, or distributors.
Only Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ certified products can be labelled as such.
All types of communication, labelling, use of the logo and claims around the Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ certification must comply with the criteria of the Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ Graphic Charter and be approved by the Alliance prior to publication.
Labelling my certified products as a Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ certified company
Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ certified companies are allowed to label their certified products (semi-finished and finished) once they:
- Complete, sign and return the Trademark Use Authorisation Agreement (TUAA) and the Company Profile to the Alliance only takes effect once certification has been obtained.
- Obtained a Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ certificate from the certification body.
- Download the Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ marketing tools, including logo and Graphic Charter, from your Business Space on the Alliance website.
- Submit all communication projects (labels, brochures, website, etc.) to the Alliance for verification and validation.
Labelling my Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ products certified as a brand or a retailer
For a brand or a retailer, the certification requirements for finished products depend on their value chain. In some cases, they must be certified according to the Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ standard and undergo annual audits (see Certification procedure).

- Verified the certification of their tier 1 suppliers from the certified companies directory.
- Verified the certification of their purchased products on the invoice (see How to verify that a product is Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ certified?).
- Contacted the Alliance for full information on certification and to provide proof of certification for their products.
- Completed, signed and returned the trademark use agreement (TUAA) and the Company Profile to the Alliance.
- Received the Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ marketing tools (including logo and graphic charter) sent by the Alliance.
- Submitted all their communication projects (labels, POS communication, brochures, website, etc.) to the Alliance for verification and approval prior to publication.
