July 20, 2026

Première Vision Linen Fabrics

The Alliance returns to Première Vision Paris 2026

Located in Hall 1 - Stand H104, the Alliance will present a dedicated space highlighting textile innovations, traceability solutions and services for brands, alongside the latest developments created by its members and companies certified under the Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ and Masters of LINEN™ standards.

Under this season's theme, "Innovation & Technology", Première Vision Paris will spotlight the solutions shaping the future of fashion.

Design, responsible sourcing, supply chain transparency and environmental performance are now key drivers for international brands. These are all areas in which the Alliance provides concrete solutions through the work it carries out with all the stakeholders in its ecosystem.

A stand dedicated to textile innovation, traceability and sourcing

Designed as a space for inspiration, discovery and dialogue, the Alliance's stand will showcase a curated selection of yarns, fabrics and knitted textiles developed by its certified European members for the Autumn-Winter 2027–28 collections.

This selection demonstrates the diversity and technical excellence of textile developments made from European Flax-Linen and Hemp while highlighting the expertise of companies across the value chain.

Visitors will discover innovations designed for future collections, alongside practical tools developed by the Alliance to help brands address growing expectations around traceability, sourcing and environmental assessment.

Highlights on the booth will include:

  • The Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ and Masters of LINEN™ certifications;
  • The Flax-Linen Traceability Platform – European Certified Fibres to Retail by TextileGenesis™, Lectra Group
  • Dedicated services available to certified companies;
  • The Autumn-Winter 2027–28 textile trends;
  • The Hemp Lab, showcasing developments in long-fibre textile Hemp;
  • The European Flax-Linen Environmental Footprint Guide.

Autumn-Winter 2027–28 collections developed by certified companies

Alongside the Alliance's exhibition, 56 member companies certified under the Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ or Masters of LINEN™ standards - including spinners, weavers and knitters - will also present their latest collections and expertise on their own stands throughout the exhibition.

Autumn-Winter 2027–28 textile trends: a season shaped by "Singular - Plural"

The Alliance's Autumn-Winter 2027–28 textile selections are brought together under the theme "Singular - Plural", celebrating the many creative expressions made possible by European Flax-Linen and Hemp.

Presented both within the booth's Fabric Library and on the Alliance's Sourcing Platform, this seasonal direction unfolds through four complementary themes, each reflecting a distinctive approach to colour, texture, construction and material innovation.

  • Comforting Comfort: where natural fibres embrace warmth and wellbeing
  • Delicacy : refined textures with understated elegance
  • Big Blur : pushing the creative boundaries of bast fibres
  • Colour Vibe : vibrant energy for tomorrow's collections

You can also find these trends in the textile selections on our sourcing platform.

A new guide to measuring European Flax-Linen Environmental Footprint

Among the highlights on the Alliance's stand is the European Flax-Linen Environmental Footprint Guide, published in March 2026. Developed in collaboration with stakeholders across the sector, this reference guide helps businesses better understand and assess the environmental impacts of products certified under the Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ and Masters of LINEN™ standards.

As regulatory requirements evolve and brands strengthen their sustainability strategies, the guide provides both methodological and practical guidance covering Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), the European Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) methodology, ISO standards and the data available for the European Flax-Linen sector.

Designed for producers, processors, brands and retailers alike, it also includes practical case studies, frequently asked questions and the key resources developed by the Alliance in recent years to support environmental performance assessment.

Among the milestones presented in the guide are:

  • The Life Cycle Assessment of Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ certified long scutched flax fibre, compliant with PEF v2.0 (2022);
  • A mapping of European Flax processing stages to support brands in carrying out environmental assessments (2022);
  • The integration of certified fibre datasets into three leading environmental databases: EF 3.1, ecoinvent and the Higg Index (2023);
  • Datasets covering six processing stages and nine flax-linen intermediate products based on the 2025 PEF methodology, developed through four years of collaboration across the industry and independently peer reviewed.

The guide will be available to consult throughout the exhibition on the Alliance's stand and can also be downloaded from the Alliance for European Flax-Linen & Hemp website.

Hemp Lab: advancing the future of European textile Hemp

Following its first presentation earlier this year, the Hemp Lab returns to Première Vision Paris with new developments showcasing the growing potential of long-fibre European textile Hemp. Developed as part of the Hemp4Circularity (H4C) project, the Hemp Lab highlights the first achievements of a collaborative initiative dedicated to building a competitive European long-fibre Hemp value chain.

Visitors will be able to explore the European Hemp Textile Inspiration Book, a practical source of inspiration illustrating the creative potential of European textile Hemp across a wide range of applications. The space will also feature a pilot collection of yarns and fabrics developed with the project's partners, demonstrating the fibre's emerging creative and industrial opportunities.

Two key events bringing the European Flax-Linen and Hemp community together

Alongside the textile innovations and solutions showcased on its booth, the Alliance will also host two dedicated events, offering visitors the opportunity to engage directly with experts and stakeholders from across the European Flax and Hemp value chain.

Conference: "European Flax-Linen: a unique fibre, multiple opportunities"

Exploring the opportunities offered by European Flax:

  • The Alliance will host a conference entitled "European Flax: a unique fibre, multiple opportunities",
